About the artist:
Anna O’Hara was born in Lancashire, England, attended art college there and in Leicester, and taught art in Norwich, where she had her first solo exhibition in 1966. She and her family moved to County Cork, Ireland, in 1976, and she specialised in painting Irish, French and Moroccan landscapes in oils and gouache. Anna loved painting from life rather than from photographs, even if it meant sitting in the snow for hours! She had over twenty exhibitions and nearly eight hundred of her original paintings are now in private and corporate art collections in Ireland, America, Europe and Japan. She died in 2013.
